Federal Trade Commission
The Federal Trade Commission has important information to prevent identity theft, and to instruct anyone who has fallen victim to identity theft.

NIST Computer Security Resouce Center
NIST Information Technology Portal
The National Institute of Standards and Technology set of standards has been adopted as the Kentucky state government framework for IT security.

Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3)
The IC3 serves as a clearing house and repository for complaints from industry and private citizens in regard to Internet Cyber Crimes. These complaints are collected, correlated, and distributed to local, state, and federal law enforcement partners for investigation and prosecution.

Kentucky Office of Homeland Security
"Lead the Commonwealth's coordination and collaboration efforts with public and private preparedness partners to ensure a Ready and Prepared Kentucky.

Multi-State Information Sharing and Analysis Center (MS-ISAC)
MS-ISAC is the focal point for cyber threat prevention, protection, response and recovery for the nation's state, local, territorial and tribal (SLTT) governments. The MS-ISAC 24x7 cyber security operations center provides real-time network monitoring, early cyber threat warnings and advisories, vulnerability identification and mitigation and incident response.

Provides practical tips from the federal government and the technology industry to help you be on guard against Internet fraud, secure your computer, and protect your personal information.

United States Computer Emergency Readiness Team (US-CERT)
The US-CERT is the central coordination and analysis facility for computer security-related issues affecting federal, state and local governments. US-CERT's incident response and advisory activities bring together elements of the Department of Defense, law enforcement, the intelligence community, academia and computer security specialists from federal agencies to create a cross-functional virtual security team.

U.S. Department of Homeland Security
The Department has the lead for the federal government for securing civilian government computer systems and works with industry and state, local, tribal and territorial governments to secure critical infrastructure and information systems. The Department works to analyze and reduce cyber threats and vulnerabilities; distribute threat warnings; and coordinate the response to cyber incidents to ensure that our computers, networks and cyber systems remain safe.
