The Blockchain Technology Work Group will hold a meeting on Tuesday, November 10, 2020, at 2:00 pm EST.
The work group will continue holding bi-weekly meetings through November 24 to review information gathered in support of the final report due December 1 and continue collaborating, editing and formatting of the draft report outline. Future scheduled meeting dates are:

The Blockchain Technology Work Group was created by SB55, which was enacted by the 2020 General Assembly and signed into law by Governor Andy Beshear. The group is chaired by the state’s Chief Information Officer and is comprised of state government officials, as well as representatives from the academic community, Kentucky’s electric cooperatives, and the municipal and investor-owned utilities. It is charged with examining the applicability of blockchain technology for various critical infrastructure sectors and reporting its findings to the Governor and the General Assembly by December 1 of each year.
