Good Afternoon!
We are now 20 days (15 Business days) away from the new Daylight Savings Time rules going into effect. In an effort to keep you updated on this, I am sending the following information. Some of this is repeated and some is new. Any information I have added is marked *NEW!*
If you find your organization struggling with daylight savings time or just have questions that you cannot or do not have time to answer, DO NOT HESITATE to call or email me. It is what I am here for.
Here is the latest news I have for you regarding this:
· *NEW!* Daylight Saving Time Help and Support Center has been updated to make information more accessible to the user based on ROLE. From the site, you can select a role from Home User, Workplace User, IT Professional, Developer, Small and Medium Business User, Partner and Handheld Device user. From this selection the tool will guide you through a series of questions to pinpoint the information you need based on platform. There is also an additional resources section. Available at: http://www.microsoft.com/dst2007
· *NEW!* Following the guidance in KB 914387 (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/914387) I have created the patch, refresh script and command file to update Windows 2000 and XP systems. If you would like this, let me know. I personally tested this on a Windows 2000 Server but not on Windows XP.
