Tape Services
COT provides data storage and retrieval by means of tape devices. Tape volumes are logged in and out of the building as required by customers. Robotic Tape libraries are maintained for scratch availability and monitored for hardware/software problems. 3480 cartridges are mounted manually. Associated costs include tape cartridges, hardware costs, maintenance fees, floor space, utilities and insurance.

Tape Libraries in the robotic tape systems are maintained for availability and security. RMM is used to provide secure files and protect data from being overwritten or misused. Assistance is offered for recovering data fom problem of foreign volume. There are associated costs (licensing and maintenance fees) for the RMM software.
