OAD provides analysis of our customer’s business processes and determines solutions based on their business needs, wants and performance goals. We will work with the customer to determine the feasibility of a technology solution or business process change and provide a cost justification for the alternative solutions.
Application Development Services
OAD designs, builds, tests and implements business solutions for our customers. We utilize our internal resources to provide these solutions so we can provide continuing maintenance and support.
Support Services
OAD provides day to day support of business systems to ensure they are available for use; updated for current business needs; and proactively evaluated for changing business needs.
Project Management Services
OAD provides quality project management for our customer’s projects as we believe it can make a difference in the success or failure of your project. Our Project Managers develop the overall scope of work, determine the staff and resources needed for your project and ensure your solution is delivered on-time and on-budget.
Business Analysis and Requirements Definition
OAD Business Analysts analyze our customer’s operational processes and determines business requirements based on needs, wants and performance goals (i.e. "as-is" to "to-be" process mapping). OAD determines the feasibility and cost justification for alternative solutions and identifies which alternative would realize the greatest cost/benefit for our customer.
Hardware and Software Assessment (Make/Buy Decision Analysis)
OAD works with our customers and our COT Team to assist agencies in hardware and software purchase decisions. OAD works with our customers and our COT Team to define the technical requirements for a proposed solution. OAD provides expert advice to our customer when evaluating the “trade-offs” between using packaged software (commercial off the shelf - COTS) versus developing custom software.
IT Procurement Assistance
OAD works with our customers to develop procurement requests such as Requests for Information (RFI), Request for Proposals (RFP) and Information for Bids (IFB). We have expertise in the procurement process to ensure the best vendors are selected and your agency and the Commonwealth are protected within the contract process. OAD will serve as an Evaluator or Technical Expert for you on vendor proposals to ensure the selected vendor and their solution will satisfy the specified business requirements.
