Maintenance of the Commonwealth’s enterprise GIS services and on-going support of the Kentucky Geography Network are the primary responsibilities of the Division of Geographic Information.
Additionally, the Division has fostered collaborative relationships with all levels of government in order to promote the application of GIS through strategic planning, technical support, policy development, and administrative and technical support of the Geographic Information Advisory Council (GIAC).
We encourage you to share ideas and information with Kentucky's GIS community through the KYGIS listserv. You will receive items pertaining to GIS submitted by our staff and other listserv participants. To join the listserv, send your name, preferred e-mail address and agency/company address to ogi.inquiry@ky.gov . You may unsubscribe at any time by sending another message to that mailbox with “UNSUBSCRIBE” in the subject line.
To submit an item for delivery through the listserv, simply compose an email and send it to kygis@listserv.ky.gov. Following approval by the listserv administrator, your message will be released and distributed to all members.
